Earth Cleansing
There are times when it all feels heavy, the weight of it suffocates me. The breaking of so many things. Fractured pieces that can't be picked up, glued back together.
The grief of the world. It can be too much to bear. Too much to carry. My shoulders not strong enough to withstand the force.
That's when I go within. Turn off the noise from everything and everyone. Find comfort in the earth. In nature.
For it's in the wonder of simple things - seemingly insignificant in a fast-paced ever-turning world - that brings me back to myself. Back to what I hold most dear. The knowledge of who I am. Who we all are. Where we come from. Where we return.
The beauty of nature has the power to mend things. Weaving with threads of magic, connection of all things. Stitching up the frayed fragments. Closing the wounds that bleed from our souls.
Sitting in the stillness, a balm for my spirit. Not forcing, not grasping, not clinging. Just allowing it to flow and wash over me.
As my tears cleanse the pain, so does the Earth wash away all my sorrow.
