Weaving Your Intentions
Over the summer there were two beautiful orb-weaving spiders that had made a home in our vegetable garden. One was the largest I had ever seen; about as big as my hand. This particular kind of spider makes incredible webs that are fascinating to look at.
Spider silk may seem like a delicate, easily breakable thing but did you know it’s actually five times stronger than steel? Seriously, spider silk is impressive and fascinating. Just take a few minutes to look it up online and your mind will be blown!
After diligently and meticulously weaving its intricate web, spider then sits patiently waiting for prey to come along and be trapped so it can eat. Spiders have been around some 400 million years and are connected to ancient wisdom. They remind us of the interconnectedness of all things, the need for patience and balance, and the power of manifestation and weaving our own destiny.
What are you weaving into your life?
Here is a fun and easy project you can do to help focus your intentions on what you want to manifest in your life right now.
Click on the link to watch a tutorial on how to draw a spider web:

As you draw each connecting thread on the web, think about what you want to manifest. You can even put it into words and write it on the threads as you draw.
Take your time doing this activity and really put some thought into it. I recommend watching the video on silent and playing some calming music in the background to help you focus. Maybe light a candle and/or burn some incense, whatever helps you feel calm and focused.
When you have completed your web, take a few moments to sit with your eyes closed. Meditate on what steps you need to take to manifest your dreams and desires.
What are you going to do to weave this web into reality?
Break the steps down into small, doable tasks. Focus your thoughts and energy on how and when you will accomplish those tasks.
Take a few more minutes to really feel all your emotions. Imagine you have finished weaving your web, you have waited patiently, and now your dreams are manifesting and coming true. How do you feel? Lean into those feelings, make them real, and be proud of yourself for all you have accomplished.
End by taking a moment to give thanks to the Universe, God, Creator, (whatever resonates for you) and express gratitude for allowing your dreams to manifest in your life.
Believe in yourself and in your ability to manifest your dreams. You are capable and you are worthy!
